Based on customers feedback Natures Sway have improved the design of the hammock.
Updated features include:

• A slightly flatter bed while still maintaining a gentle curve which supports the natural C-curve of baby’s spine
• Thanks to a new foot gate feature there is 20cm more usable length

Talking about toilet training have you heard of Elimination Communication? This method of toileting has been handed down from generation to generation, and turns the tables on infant toilet training, making it ecologically sustainable, fascinating and fun!

This very natural, gentle, environmentally friendly way of dealing with your babies waste is based on the belief that babies are aware of their elimination processes from birth and are able to communicate this awareness. I’ve heard so much about these amber necklaces how do they work?

The skin’s warmth releases healing oils from the amber, a resin, which is absorbed into the bloodstream. What is the key ingredient in amber?

The Baltic amber-succinic- is fossilized resin produced by plants 40 – 50 million years ago. In nature plants would have used the resin as an antibiotic against viruses, a substance healing cuts or a plaster for wound dressing. Now fossilized, its healing properties have been captured and are release once the skin has warmed the resin.

What research has been done on Amber?

The active ingredient in Baltic amber is succinic acid, which was analysed by the pioneer of modern bacteriology and Nobel-prize winner Robert Koch (1886). He confirmed its positive influences and discovered that there is no risk of the accumulation of surplus amounts of succinic acid in the human organism. Recent scientific research has also proved that succinic acid has a very positive influence on the human organism, it strengthens the body, improves immunity, the course of energy-related processes and the balance of acids.

Baltic amber vs. other amber?

Baltic ambers healing properties are due to its high succinic acid content. Of all types of amber, Baltic amber contains the most succinic acid, which makes it the most valued. Succinic acid is not found in any fossil resins similar to amber.

Why natural pain relief vs. chemicals?

Unlike teething gels or pain relief syrups, the traditional beaded amber necklaces imported from the Baltic region are a less intrusive remedy for the pain and side effects of teething, such as lack of appetite, upset tummies, earache, fevers and colds.
